On this day the Government of Kerala honours eminent doctors with best doctor award. This year the award was given to Dr. Devin Prabhakar for Private Sector, Dr. Jayasankar CR for Government Sector, Dr. Rajmohan for Medical College Service, Dr. Jagadeesan, Add DHS & Dr. G. Sudha for ESI at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram by Hon. Health Minister of Kerala Sri. VS Sivakumar
